Nobody Else Knows What They Are Doing Either

How would you describe what you are living for?
I just recently asked that question on social media. I found out that women have trouble coming up with an answer. They just want to get through TODAY. Surviving TODAY is the goal.

When asked: “How are you?”
The standard answer is “Busy”. “Busy” has become a badge of honor. But what is that doing to women? Our souls are hungry for something MORE!

It doesn’t have to be this way
There is a different way. A better way. And, I have a plan…

Are you already feeling defeated as fall rolls around?
That can change. You can find true satisfaction and joy in your life once you are clear about your strengths and purpose. I promise! Really!

Life-changing study begins in September.
Watch for an announcement and the details in next week’s blog. I am excited about a special study I will be offering again this fall. Over the years, I have seen many women blessed through this study. So, I am excited to see what God will do in YOUR life. Just for you. Stay tuned!

”Make me to remember, O God, that every day is Your gift and ought to be used according to Your command.” (Samuel Johnson, 1709-1784)

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be filled.” (Matthew 5:6).

Until next time, thank you for all you do.

God bless you bunches!Let's Connect!
Awaiting His shout,
Pam Taylor

Nobody Else Knows What They Are Doing Either — 2 Comments

  1. Aw! How are you? I am busy! I never think, say it, feel it without think of my father’s response to my mother. That was her stock answer being well supplied with martyr syndrome. His comment was not meant to be flattering. He always said, “Yup, Mary is the busiest woman in Kent County”. I am pretty sure that he meant that he knew she had her priorities all messed up and saw her business as a badge of honor.

And so, when I want to use the answer BUSY, I try to qualify by saying something like in a good way, doing things I/we enjoy. I think that is part of a good life. Accomplishing things we enjoy doing.

Of course, the most important way to stay busy is in loving, praising, and being in relationship with God. Thanking Him for sending us His son and not fretting too much over the stuff we really do not understand. Of course, those things that stink usually serve to bring closer to God perhaps because they are too embassing to share with anyone else.

Thanks for posting this, Ellen. You have given a lot of food for thought, here. You ARE very good at qualifying your “busy” response. Yes, busy accomplishing things we enjoy doing is JOYful!
