Scripture admonishes us to love our enemies. What does that even look like? Is that a “let others walk all over you” kind of love?
Treating those who are hostile to us with respect & kindness may be just one side of God’s kind of love. But there can actually be a second side of that coin (loving our enemies)…
SOMETIMES, there is a higher good. Sometimes we are called to partner with God to offer the “highest good” to the other. And sometimes that means setting limits on relationships and on the harmful behavior.
Is that difficult for you to do?
