Let’s talk about what you do. Habits.
Habits are there because of a need of some sort that they meet in us. They actually are a measure of our value system. What we do reflects what we think.
Are you at a place where you are ready to decide what needs to go? And…What needs to stay? (A word of caution: Don’t attempt to STOP a habit until you know WHY you do it in the first place (what NEED is it meeting in you?))
Five steps for developing good habits
- Intentionally look at what you do…with the desired end in mind.
- Decide what you want to accomplish.
- Evaluate your time constraints and desired completion date.
- Work on one thing at a time. Be intentional.
- Observe. What you do is evidence of what you truly believe. Your values.
