In Jeremiah 42:2 the people asked Jeremiah to seek God’s will in prayer for them.

In verse 7 we are told: “Now it came about at the end of 10 days that the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah.”

Often, I am unwilling to wait even 10 minutes for Him to answer. How about you? Are you willing to wait on His answer?

Jeremiah the prophet is reminding us that when we are seeking God and His “plan,” it often takes time before we see the answer. And often that waiting can be even more than 10 days.
