Real Moms Have Real Questions

How Do I Prepare My Kids to Be Full-Fledged Believers?

kozzi-24897654-close_up_of_businesswoman_having_no_idea_against_a_white_backgro-600Sometime very soon, take some time alone with your God and your Bible.

Here’s 5 questions to get you started toward your goal of helping your kids towards maturity in Christ.

Remember…this is just a place to start…but a good one. (By the way, NO ONE needs to know how you respond to the questions.)

1. Before you can prepare your kids, ask yourself: Are you, yourself a full-fledged believer? The answer for YOUR kids starts with you! So, let’s start there.

2. How will you know when you have “arrived”? What qualities will a full-fledged believer have specifically? Do you know anyone like that?

3. Do you have those qualities? If not, do you have a plan? Do you want one? Do you have a Bible Study plan?

4. What do you currently need to work on to become all God intended you to be? Do you need help?

5. Is there anyone you would like to model your life after? A mentor? An older woman that could encourage you on your journey?

Parenting is hard work. AND…unfortunately for us, our kids copy what we do more than what we say.
